Summarization

Summarization, which is powered by generative AI, is available in the Analytics tools for all datasets and in the Dashboard as widgets. There are four areas where this works:

Theme

From the `Themes’ tab in the Analytics tool, once you've selected a base theme or subtheme, it will generate an overview of that theme:

This should help you get an instant understanding of any theme in your data without having to read all the comments. Along with the summary text, the volume for number of responses, and an overall sentiment (Displayed by the red or green face) are also displayed. Clicking on a result will show the sentences in the responses related to the result.

All Feedback

From the `Themes` tab in the Analytics tool, you can also get a quick snapshot of all your feedback based on your selected filter/s, without having to select a theme:

Score Change

Lastly, from the `Score Change` tab in the Analytics tool, you can get an overview of the two time periods and what people say in them, so you can quickly understand what has contributed to the changes in your score over time:

Widgets

From the Dashboard tool, you can add the summarisation widgets by clicking `Edit` then `Add widget`:

From here, configuring the widget type, `Summary`, provides a summary of the responses:

You can also opt see a summary when you click on a theme if you have configured any of the widget types below:

  • Top themes by volume
  • Changes in most common themes
  • Key negative drivers of score
  • Key positive drivers of score
  • Recently emerged rare themes
  • Largest changes in theme mentions
  • Largest changes in score

For all of these summaries, you can hover over the summary and click on `Copy summary`. Then, paste it wherever needed to quickly capture and share this information.
